Whether you need short term support, to get you back on your feet after an illness or operation. Perhaps you need longer term support. Allcare offer a wide range of services to help.
These are the types of care services we can provide:
Personal Care
Washing, bathing, hair care, showering, assistance with dressing and undressing, continence management, stoma and catheter care, nephrostomy care, foot and nail care, oral care and care of dentures, shaving, skin monitoring and pressure ulcer prevention and management, infection control, care of glasses and hearing aids.
Meal Preparation
All aspects of food preparation and cooking, assistance to prepare and serve food, feeding where necessary, special diets (i.e. coeliac, lactose intolerant, diabetic) catered for and staff trained to administer PEG feed. All staff have food hygiene certificates and are trained to fill in nutrition monitoring and weight management paperwork.
Shopping
Assistance to make a list, providing transport or accompanying in wheelchair accessible taxi to collect shopping, or shopping on your behalf. (an additional mileage charge would apply
Accompanying Service
Sitting services to offer respite to allow partner, spouse or carer to have a break from their caring role.
Escorting to appointments providing transport to social events and appointments, accompanying service users on days out and holidays by prior arrangement.
Maintaining your home
Our staff will keep all areas clean and tidy whilst working.
Light domestic work: hoovering, sweeping, mopping, changing beds, washing up, laundry will be part of a care package to maintain the environment in which you live.
In addition
Palliative Care: All aspects of end of life care, family support, practical support, personal care, working with other health professionals to create advanced care plans.
Medication: Assistance to monitor medication, prompting from dosset boxes and pivotells, administering dosed medication from pharmacy blister packs, application of prescribed creams
